To sharpen the cone for tip and nock perfectly, the knives in the Taper Tool must be sharp. With prolonged use, the blade wears out, which can affect the outcome adversely. If bad results are obtained when sharpening the cone for nock and tip, we recommend that the blade of the Taper Tool is exchanged.
